Can a Customer Review Mention Walmart?

Is it against Amazon's policy for people to mention and urge customers to shop at Walmart in their reviews?

Currently, on my product listing, there is a 3-Star Review that states the following:

The review title states:

Can get ones or Walmart for a fraction of the price

Review:

They did good but Walmart ones were way cheaper and did just as good

Wow. Years back I tried to post a review along the lines of "Better than what I can get at the local store", without even mentioning a store name. Amazon blocked it.

Amazed that someone can now mention their biggest competitor. Although perhaps you might want to consider a product that allows you to be competitive; gone are the days were customers look only at Amazon.

For as long as I can recall, it has been policy that one cannot direct traffic off of Amazon to another site.

Hmmm, If they are no longer enforcing this. can I mention eBay in my book listings? ( Ever since Amazon removed the descriptions on new books, I have listed my still-in-publishers-shrink-wrap new books on eBay because I can get more for them there. I don't want to compete against the new-from-Goodwill FBA listings on Amazon. But I want the listings on my VG copies on Amazon to mention that a really new copy is available on eBay )

I may try this.

Note to any Amazon employee who may be reading this: if you would put the description of new books back in, I would have zero incentive to try this.

Customer like to say that to get free returns even if walmart doesnt even sell the item. Reviews were way better when they use to allow comments nowadays anything goes just part of Amazon self sabotaging its platform.

Have you asked to have it removed? I am pretty confident Amazon will remove it based on naming their main competitor.

Hello @Seller_4RtdGHvkauz5r- thanks for surfacing this here on the forums. I would certainly recommend reporting the review using the standard path to begin with, then keeping me in the loop on support's response in case I have further ability to escalate from my end. If you've already reported the review, can you help share any Case IDs / Order IDs involved so I can take a closer look?

Thanks!
