Return - received old, used and damaged product

Order no. 701-7916272-2282630

Buyer bought a new product and after delivery immediately placed return request stating "Not useful". we accepted return request, but what we received is old, used, damaged and rusty old product. how to tackle with such kind of dishonest buyers?

You can file an FBA returns reimbursement claim if FBA, as the customer is required by Amazon policy to send back the same item they received and ordered.

Serial numbers vs the box, or if it's missing serial number and had one, then I would claim with that against FBA reimbursement request. Lately it's been brutal with the reimbursements getting denied left and right though.
