Merging 2 seller accounts

Hi, we have 2 different brands under 2 different identities and 2 different seller central canada accounts. We have decided to merge the 2 business together. Is it acceptable as per seller code of conduct that I delete all asins on an account and then list those asins immediately in the other account without going against the policy?

Please note both accounts are in good standing without any policy violations.

I would close one of the accounts and I would not bring the listings from the deleted account to the one you want to keep. I would create new product listings with new UPC codes.

how did you managed to have 2 seller accounts without being suspended?

Hello! @Seller_zBDAdW5jLdiHD

Thank you for raising your concerns in the Forums. I understand you wish to understand if deleting the listings from one of your accounts and immediately listing them in the other one is allowed, while I understand you have a legitimate reason to do this, it may raise flags if you do this immediately.

I would proceed with caution and completely close one of the accounts, remove all inventory from our warehouses, deleting all the listings from that account, once the account you wish to no longer maintain is completely closed, you could start listing the products in the other one. (The same ASINs should not exist in both accounts at the same time) You also need to consider if your current listings require additional approvals, if you were to re-list them you would have to go through the approval process again.

That being said, I would encourage reviewing our policies regarding multiple accounts:

Selling policies and seller code of conduct

Address a Multiple Account Policy violation

If you have additional questions, our Seller Support team may be able to help.

Regards,

Roberto
