Wrong Dimensions

I'm really stressed because Amazon is saying my product has the wrong dimensions, and it's costing me extra money. Here's what's going on:

I opened a case with Amazon and requested they use the Cubiscan machine to measure my product at their warehouse. The Cubiscan measurement showed the height as 8.03 inches.

But then, as part of the same case, the Amazon fulfillment person also sent a photo showing them manually measuring the product, and it's actually only 7 inches tall.

So for some reason, Amazon is saying my product is 1 inch taller than it really is. And this extra 1 inch is making me pay an extra $4.50 in fees that I shouldn't have to pay.

When I try to get help from Amazon about this, I'm just getting generic, unhelpful responses, like I'm talking to a chatbot instead of a real person. I'm really confused and stressed about what to do.

Has this happened to any other sellers out there? What steps did you take to get Amazon to fix the wrong product dimensions they have on record? Any advice would be greatly appreciated, because I'm at a loss for how to resolve this unexpected extra cost.

Are you saying that you have a product that is

Less than or equal to 18 inches on the longest side

Less than or equal to 14 inches on the median side

and 7 inches on the shortest side

and Amazon is bumping you from Large Standard to Large Bulky?

Understanding item package weight and dimensions

Please check the above help page for details on remeasurement requests, and how to see if you have reached your limit.

If your own measurements are different than the fulfillment center measurements, this may be due to differences may be different from your own measurements.

Dimensional weight

You may also want to review the dimensional weight information to see if that applies for your product.

Please check back if the above information does not help and you still need assistance.
