HELP! Amazon glitch! Duplicate products with new ASINs created
Hello,
I want to start by saying that for each ASIN I have to SKUs created. One SKU is for the FBM, second is for the FBA. In case if FBA stock gets depleted the FBM Sku will cover it. (For example, PRODUCT-1-FBA and PRODUCT-1-FBM.
I had many different variations under one parent. All products are the same product type but differ in Size and Style. For some reason amazon has removed the parent and I had to "reupload" products to make sure that all children inherit reviews and BSR.
After uploading the feed (with a correct SKUs, but ASINs in the feed are missing, because I took the feed from the Reports > Inventory Reports > Catalog Listing Reports) Amazon has changed the ASINs for my FBA products.
So now I have a situation where PRODUCT-1-FBA and PRODUCT-1-FBM have different ASINS.
First product ASIN has all the FBA inventory connected to it (and this is a new ASIN), and the second ASIN (old one) for the FBM is exactly the same and has all the reviews and BSR connected.
Now I have a situation where the PRODUCT-1-FBA with a completely new ASIN number and a big amount of the products at the FBA facility but has no reviews, no BSR.. And literally invisible, while the PRODUCT-1-FBM (Fullfilled by Merchant) has old ASIN with all the reviews and BSR..
Please help to merge them back together. The merge tool doesnt work.
There are more than 100 products like this. Please advise what can be done. Catalog and FBA team are totally useless to help. I spent 5 hours on the phone trying to explain them what I want, but they just don't get it.
Thanks

Unfortunately, this type of new ASIN creation is a common problem when using product feeds in bulk.
You must merge all of your ASINS, one by one. I understand this is tedious but its the only way to resolve your issue and you only need to do it once.
If the merge tool is not working, I suggest you open a case with Amazon Seller Central without using the merge tool and indicate the ASIN you want to keep and the ASIN you want to merge. I suggest you open once case for every ASIN you must merge. You will have to open more than 100 cases.
Once your items are merged, I would suggest adding them all into a variation using edit inventory instead of product feeds. You will see errors in real time and Amazon will not create new ASINS accidentally as a result of errors.
