Credit Card Invalid- Charge Methods

" You must update your existing credit card information or add a new credit card to regain full access to this seller account."

Hello, I've had this problem for 15 days. Whatever card I enter tells me that it is INVALID and I cannot access my seller account since access is limited due to this inconvenience.

Hello @Seller_pW7W7izcVZEpa

This is Roberto and I wanted to follow up on the issue you reported. If you have already tried with multiple cards, I highly encourage you to reach out to your financial institution to make sure the billing address you are entering is an exact match of the information they have in your statements.

All the requirements for a card to be validated are outlined here, I'm sending you the information below for your reference:

We verify your credit or debit card based on the following requirements. Violating one or more of the requirements below will result in your card being denied by Amazon.

  • The number you entered should match the number on your credit or debit card.
  • The billing address you entered should match the billing address on your credit or debit card statement.
  • The CVV code you entered should match the code on your credit or debit card.
  • The card expiration date should be at least 6 months from when you add the card.
  • The cardholder’s name you entered should match the cardholder’s name on your credit or debit card (in the Latin-script alphabet).
  • The card should not be a prepaid, virtual, or gift card.
  • The card should be chargeable in the currency of the Amazon store(s) for which the card is being provided.
  • The card should have adequate credit limit to pay for the charge.
  • If you were asked to enter a unique security code by your financial institution, the code you entered should match the code sent to the cardholder via SMS, email, or token.

If you have already tried with multiple cards and communicated with your financial institution. Please reach out to Seller Support to report this issue: https://sellercentral.amazon.com/help/center

If all of the above has failed, don't hesitate to let me know.

Best,

Roberto_Amazon
