Amazon lost my inventory worth $5000 and refusing to reimburse me

Case ID: 15347111621

Hi, I have shipped a box with 29 items worth about $5000 on 4/3.

The tracking shows that it was delivered and signed by Amazon on 4/15.

Amazon processed the items but concluded that 0 items have been received.

I have created multiple cases/opened investigations for the missing items, but they said

there's no record of them receiving any items.

We have sent everything they asked for, valid invoices, proof of delivery etc. They even did conclude that the invoices ARE valid.

Seller support does not help us, We need to be reimbursed for these items. We are considering arbitration or lawsuit because the worth of the missing items is significant. We are incurring significant financial damage for the missed opportunity already, besides the potential loss of these items.

Please investigation this case and compensate for the missing items and make things right.

Thank you.

I'm sorry that happened to you. Amazon and UPS lost $40,000 worth of my inventory. I submitted tickets and called as soon as I suspected something was wrong.

I got the typical runaround and then I escalated my ticket only to have them make me wait a full 30 days for inventory to magically show up. It never did.

They dragged me along for over 6 months and finally closed my ticket. Making me start all over from the beginning. It was a total nightmare.

My business has still not recovered from the loss. I hope you have a better outcome.

I've had a similar experience. It's really starting to make me angry. Every time I try to find out where my items are, I get the run around. I have put in several cases for this, and they end up closing them without a resolution. The items show up as FC Processing, but I think they must have lost them somehow. I will not stop until I get paid for their mistake.

This is very common, Once they lost my whole pallet of games worth $80000 and after long communication for 4 months they reimbursed in inventory credit since the season for video games was over and the game was already 6 moth old, I still have them in my warehouse. they have made the inventory management system very complicated purposefully for sellers so that they avoid responses for any claims. when we talk about claims they will not allow the claims to be made for few months WHY? Their system shows all the items received at the first place and than they lost in transit, still wait for 90 days and than file claim. lot of items are already out of season or expired in the mean time.
