. ALL OF SUDDEN. NO FBA ORDERS FROM PAST 1 MONTH.

In the months of March and April of 2024, I set up Amazon Prime Seller account. My item is a house hold laundry item that is popularly used.

My first order was on 04/15/2024 and last order was on 06/09/2024 and in between these dates, I had 3 shipments total 30 units. I sold 24 items and remaining items amazon reported as damaged or problem units and I was forced to acknowledge. I was happy so far.

Now the problems started. My last shipment started on 06/12/2024 and closed on 07/10/2024. The previous 3 shipments were so smooth but this one all of sudden had issues. I have no idea why. It eventually got closed on 07/10/2024 Amazon was able locate all my items. But no orders, not even a single order so far. When I called Amazon they gave me below reasons that was not making sense to me.

1) Few items are still in transit for other final fulfillment destination centers for prime eligible so that they are closed to potential customers and this will take end of July 2024 so do not expect any orders. This was not at all making sense to me.

2) The reason I did not have any orders since customers did not put any order for highly used my item which was evident from previous sales and the Amazon agent even said that they did not go into my store and didnot put order and there were 1000's of seller for my item. I am buyer on amazon and I never go into specific seller store and put order. So if this is the case why I didnot had this issue during my 24 sold items. Only Amazon knows.

So I do not know when I will get new orders or when I will start making money. I do not know anything and on top of that Amazon is taking monthly fee from me and all this makes me feel is Amazon scamming sellers.

I do not know what I can do here. No help from Amazon.

Are you sourcing from the brand or the brands authorized distributor?

Are there multiple sellers on your listings?

Are you sourcing from Essendant or SP Richards?

Do you have authority over the listings?

Okay so I used to do the same except I sourced from national distributors. Your in for a tough ride. Without any brand authority you cannot do any SEO or BSR management, which means your growth is soley based on growing your catalog, no amount of ads, no A+ content, no brand store to push on NTB business.

This combined with the level of competition your likely to encounter is why most do not venture into what you are doing. There are likely other sellers that are more established with better metrics that will get the sales off of the listing your on. Your previous orders may have been due to a honeymoon.

Im going to be very straight with you. The direction your headed is toward losing money.

The listing is for Downy brand which is made by P&G. The only authorized sources for P&G are their national distributors and themselves. You have 12 units which tells me your not purchasing at the level required to have a commercial account with P&G or any of thier authorized national distributors.

This listing has dozens of other sellers, many of which are priced lower than you.

You have no established sales metrics, no feedback.

You only have an offer on this one listing.

This listing is not under brand control. While it is a best seller the SEO is garbage.

Lets be honest. Do you feel like you have a business or are just flipping stuff for side money. Because Amazon will hurt resellers who are flipping for side money. You can search the forums and find countless examples of Amazon keeping inventory and funds when a seller cannot prove a supply chain of custody.

But does your sourcing meet Amazon requirements for product condition guidelines & Intellectual Property Policy.

Is YOUR business authorized to use P&G brand intellectual property?

Is YOUR inventory authenticity verifyable?

If your answer has to do with another company dropshipping for you then the answer is NO and Amazon has a history of deactivating resellers and keeping funds and inventory that the authenticity is not verfiable and/or the reseller is unauthorized by the brand.
