The delivery time is longer than it should be.
Hello,
I am a seller on Amazon Mexico and I have encountered an issue with the handling/delivery time displayed for my listings. My current shipping settings indicate a maximum delivery time of 5 business days. However, my active listings are showing an estimated delivery time of up to 9 to 14 days, which is incorrect and highly misleading for customers.
Hello,
Although I have disabled the Shipping Settings Automation (SSA) feature, Amazon continues to display longer delivery estimates than what I have configured for some of my FBM (Fulfilled by Merchant) listings. I have carefully set up my handling and transit times according to my shipping capabilities.
Despite this, the estimated delivery dates shown to customers are often later than the actual delivery time I can provide. This negatively affects my conversion rates, as longer delivery times tend to reduce the likelihood of customers placing orders.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? If so, have you found any effective solutions or workarounds?
Also, I’d appreciate any advice on how to get a more concrete response from Amazon Seller Support regarding this matter
Thank you for your support.
Best regards,

Hello @Seller_JW7imIAkQ84kO
Christine here from Amazon Forums.
I understand you disabled SSA. However, we're seeing this isn't always fixing the issue completely. Here's what I recommend based on successful resolutions:
Quick fix attempt:
- Go to Shipping Settings
- Temporarily remove and re-save your shipping templates
- Wait 24 hours for the system to refresh (Several sellers reported this sometimes triggers a reset)
If that doesn't work:
- Document your actual settings vs. what's showing
- Grab screenshots
- Note specific ASINs having issues
- Open a case via Help > Shipping Settings & Configuration
PRO TIP: Specifically request a "Shipping Configuration Specialist" when opening your case. Regular support might not have the right access level to resolve this.
Other sellers, are any of you experiencing this specifically with certain product categories? This info could help identify patterns.
Quick workaround while you wait for resolution: Some sellers have had success adding a brief note in their product descriptions about actual shipping times. Not ideal, but it helps maintain conversion rates.
Christine.
