For Amazon LTL shipments, my understanding is if you are loading without a loading dock, you just have to forklift the pallet inside. However, is it required to pallet jack your pallet to the front of the truck after you forklift it inside the truck?

Generally speaking it will actually be forbidden by the LTL company for you to enter the truck to shift any freight inside the truck. Once it's in the truck it's the LTL company's responsibility to shift it as necessary and any reputable LTL company will yell at you if you try to get on their truck for *any* reason since their insurance doesn't cover you and it's a huge liability issue.
So: lazy drivers.

Hi Sandyblog, it would be typical in the industry for carriers to not permit shippers inside the truck and would be their responsibility to shift the load accordingly (for which there are also standard practices such as nose-loading, but I digress). If there is a concern I would definitely recommend getting in touch with the carrier directly.
