Test report rejected

Ok so I uploaded everything needed for my baby feeding product and I got a rejected for needing test reports. I uploaded the test reports the 1st time, but uploaded them again the second time. I added on an additional improvement to the design I bought from the supplier. I uploaded test reports for the additional product I added to my product. Why is it only asking for test reports? It’s been under review for a couple of days now. There’s no explanation as to what exactly I’m missing. Help please!

I created a product combined from two different suppliers. Uploaded both suppliers test reports. The first time my product was immediately rejected, now it’s under review for a while. Should I wait it out or… ?

That is fine. Now that makes you the manufacturer of the compinged product you sell.

Amazon wants to see YOUR product testing results in YOUR name from a USA Based Testing lab such as Underwriters Laboratories.

You will send 10 products to be tested and around $2000 to start, depending on the nests needed. If passed all USA safe tests, you will receive your certificate to present to Amazon.

If the product fails, UL will tell you what need to be corrected. Correct the issues and send another 10 products with another $2000 to get the certificate.

As you can see, this will be slightly expensive, so hopefully you will be attending trade shows in hopes of the large box stores picking up your product to sell.

That is the reality of the situation, but here's advice.

You are working with international trade. Amazon understands US laws and compliances, and how foreign companies do not comply. It is your responsibility to understand then too.

If you purchased any of your components from China, and the manufacturer cannot give you a certificate issued by a USA based testing lab, that is because they know it will not pass the testing. Send the product back, get a refund, and start over.
