is it just me, or is USPS losing more packages then ever!
We have had more complaints over USPS losing packages and/or arriving very late in the past month.

For January it would be normal as a few winter storms that blew through shut down post offices across many states for anywhere from 2 to 4 days depending on the area and their ability to handle snow. I'm in Southeast Tennessee and many post offices were closed up to 4 days straight starting with the government closing all post offices for Jimmy Carters Remembrance and then the following 2 days because of weather and the next day because it was Sunday. So USPS was 4 days behind across several states and packages didn't get scanned for 8 days as they were catching up. It was a mess. Not sure where you ship from or if your region had problems like here in the south, but the Southeast US is not capable of functioning even with small amounts of snow.

I've had delays of 10+ days on many packages recently. I had to open missing mail claims for all of them, magically they start moving again a day or two after the claim is submitted.
USPS has been going downhill since December of last year, seems to be getting worse. I've switched to UPS, it may cost a bit more, but I don't have to deal with the nonsense of USPS anymore.

Significantly more lost and delayed packages than before, and I don’t believe they were all caused by the weather as many of them were stuck at our local post office and the weather was clear. I sell time-sensitive and non-returnable products, so this is a disaster for my business.
