Amazon has changed my handling times

As this happened to YOU.

Just noticed Amazon has changed the handling time on any listing which previously read 2 days to now read 0. So it has to be filled the same day, image its 3pn in the afternoon or near closing. Received an order May 30, so based on my records I have till June 1. Filled the order today May 31 went to load shipping data and found out I was late. I never changed the handling time, but Amazon has, not just on this ASIN, but on any reading 2 days. They did not approve me taking 2 days, they decided NO , not acceptable. Now my account health is marked late due to no error of mine. Solution well too bad, it will stand for 30 days. Not our problem.

Did this happen to you in the US Marketplace or the Canadian Marketplace.

It happens in the US marketplace a lot, but this would be the first time it happened in the Canadian Marketplace.

Hello, @Seller_h9joQHWhw0Plw,

It shouldn't happen in the US or CA stores, regardless. I understand how this hurts your business, and it is not the experience we want for our Sellers.

Please contact our Support team here. Provide them a list of sample SKUs, when you noticed the change, and if you have any third-party software authorized to update your inventory. With this information, they should be able to identify how this happened.

If you don't get the support you need, please send me your case ID, and I will look into it for you.

Regards,

Sunnie

This is due to "Handling Time Optimization" feature that was implemented lately in Canada. It seems that you fulfilled orders very quickly the previous month, so Amazon "penalized" you.

I have the same issue. In my case, this even overrides the production time of 4 days that is specified at the SKU level. For us, we have SKUs in the same variation (by colour) that have different handling times. Personalizing a red name tag is faster than a blue one according to Amazon. Our workflow is severely impacted.

We had to slow down our dispatching to match our target handling time so that Amazon does not reduce it next month.

I asked Amazon if there is a way to opt-out from this. Their answer was to manually specify it for each SKU. to override the changes. However, I already have it specified and still the system changed it.
