Why am I now forced to add return shipping charges when I just want to refund?
Since a few weeks or months I no longer seem to be able to refund an order without adding return shipping funds on top of the refund even when there is nothing to ship back, why?
The buyer opened a return request but I just want to refund them and do not want the item back as it was damaged in shipping.
Thank you

This issue requires attention from Amazon.
I sold a cheap book a few weeks ago that the buyer wants to return. Amazon's stupid use of UPS labels for return of books, instead of USPS Media Mail means that the return of this book will cost more than it is worth.
There was absolutely NO WAY to contact the buyer and ask him not to take the book to UPS, but just keep it or give it to a friend.
Note to self: STOP selling cheap books!

Hey @Seller_R8ki3KTqShEFj, do you have any returnless resolutions set? This may help. You can offer returnless resolutions for specific SKUs or for returns that meet specific criteria of your designation.
