Charge method won't verify despite bank confirming that card has no issues
I am in a very desperate situation now. Amazon keeps charging my card even when the day they are supposed to charge has not reached yet. And they keep telling me that they couldn't charge my card due to unable to verify card. Checked with my bank and was told my card has no issue and can be charged. Amazon has limited my access to my seller account and support don't seem to be able to help. How can i possibly address this issue? Please help.

Are you trying to use a debit card? Debit cards will "work" for a selling account only to the extent that Amazon will charge the card for what it owed. The card won't allow you to use the selling account. Amazon being able to charge the card makes no difference. It must be true credit card -- not debit.

Hi @Seller_MVKlnJXUTVE2L,
Steve from Amazon here, thank you for reaching out in the Forums. Can you please provide me with the latest case IDs you have created to Seller Support for this issue? I would like to review this situation and see if I can help here.
In the meantime, I am dropping the Credit Card requirements below for review. Please ensure that the credit card you are trying to add meets all of these requirements.
- Is the credit card valid?
- Is there a minimum charge amount?
- Are you using a pre-paid card? (Note: Use of a pre-paid card is not accepted for a selling account.)
- Does the bank have a record of the charge attempt?
- Are there bank limits or policies that prevent the charge attempt from being authorized?
- Is there any incorrect credit card information entered? (Note: All the credit card information entered such as number, name, address, ZIP code, or expiration date must be an exact match with your card details.)
- Is this chargeable in the currency of the Amazon marketplace where you registered your seller account?
Thanks,
Steve
