Merchant Shipping Group on the Cell Phone App
On the Amazon Seller App on my cell phone, when I go to list an item, everything goes well until I get to the field for the "Merchant Shipping Group". That is only a text filed and it should be a drop down like they have it when you use the PC. On the cell phone app, even if you put the correct merchant group name in the text field, the app will give you an error. Then you have to save the listing as a draft and complete it on a PC. Very Frustrating.

I just spent an hour in a chat with an Amazon person. Her suggestion? Go to https://sellercentral.amazon.com/sbr/ref=xx_shipset_dnav_xx#shipping_templates. This page lists a seller's shipping templates. For each item you wish to sell, in the box that asks for Merchant Shipping Group, give the name of the shipping template you wish to associate with that item. An example--I will type "Migrated Books Template" in the Merchant Shipping Group box. I hope this helps you and others.

These HAVEN'T worked:
1) renaming shipping template
2) creating new shipping template
3) typed in various product groups and variations
Hope for some resolution here. Got 50 books ready this afternoon.

Seller support seems to be dealing with it on a single user basis going by whatever prompt they are fed.
