Need Help please account deactivated issue

Hello everyone, please take the time to read and if you can leave a response.

Here’s the issue, I had an account a long long time ago at least 2 years ago. I didn’t really pay attention to the rules or guidelines at that time because I was young and was just trying to start selling and make money. I ended up getting deactivated on that account I’m not sure why I did but I do remember getting deactivated. Fast forward to about a fre months ago I tried making a new Amazon seller account. It then got deactivated due to it being connected to that old account. I tried explaining that I no longer have access to the old email and old phone number but they said since it is my account I need to log in and appeal it then deactivate it if I wanted to make another account. I then said it again that I have no access to the email or phone number that was linked to the email. Customer support basically told me there was nothing they can do about deleting the old account or helping me get a new one.

I was just wondering if anyone else has had this issue/gone through this issue. I really need help as I really do want to start selling on Amazon now that I have done proper research.

You're not the first to report a similar issue.

But your options are limited. The ONLY way you can proceed is to resolve the issues with your ORIGINAL account. As long as it is suspended, then any linked accounts, which includes not only one opened by you, but also any accounts opened by family or household members, will also be suspended.

If you don't even remember why you were suspended, you might be better off spending your time finding another venue to sell on. And this time, take the time to learn the rules before jumping in.

As communicated previously, you will need to resolve the original concerns to be able to resolve the current concerns impacting you. Any attempts to open a new account or be involved in any other selling account will result in a restriction being placed.

they were saying I would need to disable 2 fac authentication and then change it however I don’t think I ever set that up on my main account.
