Canada Post Strike Feedback Still Not Removed. Why?

I began selling in Canada just a few days before the Strike. During that time, I shipped several hundred packages, but the disruption led to a flood of negative feedback, causing me to lose the Buybox. I commented on @Daryl_Amazon post regarding feedback removal, but none of the negative reviews have been addressed. Whenever I create support cases, I receive generic responses explaining why the feedback cannot be removed. All of the negative feedback I received stems directly from issues that occurred during the Strike.

I think they realized the problem was a lot bigger than they thought, and they have no resources to deal with this issue. This is exactly why Amazon should have stepped up and put something in place prior to the strike to protect sellers from this metrics disaster to our accounts.

I have the same situation, I lost my Buybox, the alert that the account might be deactivated made me anxious and I had to stop the sale, now I'm waiting for them to deal with the negative feedback, hopefully someone can help us remove these bad reviews due to the Canada Post strike.

They are too busy, many sellers have the same problem and repeat posts keep them busy. However I'm worried that I won't be able to wait for the day they process it and my store will be closed because of the ODR, I'm a new seller and this is really bad experience.

Hi,

I’m sorry to hear about your situation—it’s incredibly frustrating to face this due to circumstances beyond your control. To address the negative feedback:

1. Escalate your cases with Seller Support and provide clear documentation of the Canada Post strike’s impact.

2. Reference Amazon’s feedback removal policy, which may allow removal if it’s unrelated to your service but due to carrier issues.

3. Reach out to @AmazonHelp on social media for additional assistance.

Stay persistent, and hopefully, they’ll address your concerns soon. Best of luck!

Best regards,

Subject: Request for Review of A-to-Z Claims Impact

@Ricardo_Amazon

Dear Amazon Support Team,

I am reaching out regarding the following A-to-Z claims, which were filed during the Canada Post strike and have impacted my order defect rate (ODR):

• Order ID: 701-6856996-9349040

• Order ID: 701-5043985-9625069 (Case ID: 16982355621)

• Order ID: 701-5266227-3865048 (Case ID: 16982293451)

• Order ID: 702-6258536-5651411 (Case ID: 16943197311)

• Order ID: 702-8820591-5964220

• Order ID: 701-4662295-8524236 (Case ID: 16939235981)

• Order ID: 702-8274742-3759402

• Order ID: 701-2638563-7456200 (Case ID: 16934358131)

These claims were initiated due to delivery delays caused by the Canada Post strike, which were beyond my control. In most cases, the customers have confirmed receipt of their orders and expressed satisfaction, acknowledging that filing an A-to-Z claim was a mistake.

Some of these claims are marked as transferred, but others remain unresolved. I kindly request your review to ensure these claims do not negatively impact my account health or ODR, as the issues have been addressed and resolved with customers.

Thank you for your understanding and assistance.

Due to the Canada Post strike, the busy holiday season, and challenging winter conditions, unfortunately, there were unexpected delays outside of our control. As a result, our store has received negative feedback and A-to-Z claims. This has led to an increase in our ODR and has negatively impacted our account health.Customer satisfaction is our top priority, and we are seeking solutions to mitigate the impact of these negative reviews on our business. Could you kindly assist us in this matter?Thank you in advance for your support.

Dear Amazon Support Team,

I am reaching out regarding the following A-to-Z claims that have affected my Order Defect Rate (ODR) during the Canada Post strike: these issues are entirely due to circumstances beyond our control. The delivery delays caused by the strike, along with subsequent customer complaints, have occurred outside of our influence. Therefore, I kindly request that you review these claims and take into consideration that they were caused by factors outside of our control.

We always prioritize customer satisfaction and make every effort to ensure orders are delivered on time and securely. However, this exceptional situation has had unforeseen effects on all parties and was beyond our control.

I kindly request that the necessary adjustments be made to ensure my ODR is not negatively impacted. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

These claims were initiated due to delivery delays caused by the Canada Post strike, which were beyond my control. In most cases, the customers have confirmed receipt of their orders and expressed satisfaction, acknowledging that filing an A-to-Z claim was a mistake.

Thank you for your understanding and assistance.
