We have a book that will be available for sale on Jan 27th. We will have inventory ready to ship on 1/27/2025 and I am so worried because I have no idea what is wrong with these dates listed and why it is not appearing accurately. Does anyone have experience with Amazon correctly listing their restock date? I have never seen this as a buyer on a listing but hoping it is possible. Because we are selling books, I read somewhere that we are not eligible for a pre-sale.
Our Amazon listing currently says INCORRECTLY:

I am so frustrated because customer service told me to change the dates as follows to get this message to list our restock date but it did not. I would like the correct date listed for when the product will be in stock: Jan 27th but I do not know how to get the system to display this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You are over worrying about the situation.
When you enter your start date for selling, the page is instantly changed.
The page as you see it now, is the standard page default view Amazon uses when there are no products available by any seller. If you become the only seller, don't get your hopes up that the page will display you are the Featured Offer (Buy Box).
Now what was stated above is when you are dealing with FBM selling. In you are sending product to FBA, don't do anything until you receive confirmation the product is in place and ready to sell.
