Fake reviews hitting my product
I started selling on Amazon not long ago. I put extra care and QC into my products. Lately one of my newest products has been hit with a string of fake reviews (just in time for the holidays and conveniently when I'm gaining momentum).
The reviewer names are aliases and do not match names on any orders, and the reviewer claims they cannot return the order in one of the reviews, which is completely untrue. It's quite clear in my product page that returns are accepted within 60 days.
Another one of these reviews isn't even a varrified purchase.
I've reported the reviews. It sounds silly to be angry about this, but 2 bad and fake reviews when you only have a few real reviews takes a huge toll on your business.
I don't understand what takes so long to remove the reviews. I'm a little concerned they won't be removed at all, and the fact is that they're not authentic and blatantly state untrue things about my product is very problematic. Not only will this hurt me over the holidays, it'll probably hurt me for a long time since reviews come slow.
Really worried about this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I feel that little "report" button next to the reviews is just there to make me feel better and for other sellers to take advantage of. Pray tell how I can sell 500 units and only get 4 reviews over 4 months and some new up-and-comer with a product only 40 days only has reviews in the 70s, sometimes 100s. And with Rufus AI now assisting buyers with product pages, bad reviews purposely riddled with intentionally damaging key words are especially harmful to success.

Welcome to Amazon BbMac,
This is typical here at Amazon. I have received warnings from other sellers as well. They have threatened me with countless negative feedback and it has happened. Amazon has done nothing.
Those fake reviews are either your competitors or lazy people looking for freebies abusing the platform. I have tons of friends doing the same, getting free product they need. They will continuously report you selling counterfeit products and you will receive policy warnings and 60 days suspensions causing zero income. Unfortunately nobody is doing anything at marketplace giant.
Wait until you give up to worry about it until Amazon deactivates you over the time.
I gave up after 2 years.
Here is my suggestion. Do not invest high financial sources and have huge inventory.
In the meantime think about why people use Amazon and very happy.
Sadly, this is how Amazon measures customer happiness. They call it customer service with my financial sources and time.
In return of all these downside, AMAZON sells our products way higher than other platforms alone.
This is the truth.
There is no perfect World...
