Adding my Generic brand product to my Brand

My first product was created (lack of knowledge) with Generic Brand. I was thinking I can change the brand name later once my brand registry is approved. I have created my product under this brand name and the physical product has the brand name labelled. When I contacted the seller help without applying the human intelligence they send me the following reply "Moreover, we cannot make the suggested brand change to ASIN ID ********. The proposed name **<My Brand>** is already taken by brand and controlled by the brand owner."

This product and this brand is owned by me, but Amazon is not realizing it.

My product is already with Amazon and with FBA , so can any one tell me how to fix this, without getting back the product by remapping the existing SKU with new ASIN.

I think I don't fully understand your question. I just can say that you cannot change a generic listing and transform it in a branded listing. You have to take a new UPC from GS1 attributed to your seller name exactly as registered under "Legal Entity" and "Official Registered address" and create a new listing for your BRAND.
