Hello All, I have some larger batteries (above 70lbs) that need to be shipped by freight because of DOT hazmat rules. Other products similar are already shipped by freight per what I see online.
I have submitted a request with my Merchant ID/email and am waiting. Is there anything else I can do to help move this forward?

While waiting for the initial response, prepare these documents:
- SDS (Safety Data Sheets) for your batteries
- UN38.3 test certification
- DOT hazmat classification documentation
- Battery specifications, including exact weight and dimensions
- Photos of your packaging/labels that meet DOT requirements
Create a case in Seller Support specifically mentioning:
- "Hazmat Battery Freight Shipping Request"
- Your existing ticket number
- ASIN(s) involved
- Current shipping limitations you're encountering
If you haven't already, ensure you have:
- Active hazmat certification in your seller account
- Freight carrier agreements in place
- Proper dangerous goods packaging ready
Please note: Freight shipping approval for hazmat items typically takes 2-3 weeks for review. Having all documentation ready will help expedite this process.
