Hi, I’m a new Amazon FBA seller, and I'm taking time to grow
but I don’t fully understand why.
One common reason, I think, is that buyers aren’t leaving reviews.
I also ran a $100 automatic PPC campaign, but only got 4 orders — which feels low.
I'm offering Alibaba-level prices with high-quality products, because we are the actual manufacturer.
Can anyone please help me understand what might be going wrong or how I can improve?

Hi there @Seller_T6SmFI5D8VbbV
CR here and wanted to hop in here to welcome you to the community. I noticed that this was your first post with us here in the group and wanted to personally welcome you.
While I'm sure other sellers will chime in here on their suggestions, I wanted to let you know that we are currently hosting a live Ask Amazon event today, 6/12/25, with the Advertising team. Head on over to this thread to ask your questions and receive responses in real time from the Ads team.

CR back here again. I forgot to mention that you can always reach out directly to the Amazon Ads Support team (separate from Seller Support) by following this link. They can take a look into your campaign and provide suggestions to best optimize your campaigns as well.

it takes time... if you want reviews in the beginning, I suggest doing VINE but it's not even guaranteed that they will leave reviews ( i honestly don't know why, if they get it for free, it should be required to leave a review in my opinion.)

Don't get hung up on reviews.
Most people know they are fake.
I get emails everyday from companies offering to leave reviews on my products.

I've search your forum username on Amazon and identified a brand selling wallets.
There is too much competitors in this catalog, and I can't see any distinctive features or designs could give your product an edge over other competitors, so it will be highly challenging to start.
I recommend you to reallocate the advertising budget by reducing spend in auto PPC campaign and and increasing investment in manual PPC campaign to find your target customers.
As for the product review, I recommend trying VINE if you require it urgently.

Being a new member seller, it looks like you believed all the FBA hype Amazon throws out to entice sellers to use the service. Remember, Amazon is a for profit company and makes the bulk of on-line selling profit from the fees charged to use FBA. Here are some basic thoughts on successful online selling using the Amazon site.
1. It costs no more to fail in online retail sales as it does to succeed in online retail sales. The difference is the amount of knowledge you possess to put forth in your endeavors.
2. Amazon Seller University will tell you everything you need to know about utilizing the site, but how to operate a business for profit is what you bring to the site.
3. Amazon is a for profit company and is very good at taking and keeping as much of your profit as they can and as often as they can without you even knowing it’s being taken.
4. Only sell product that buyers want and need and offer them at the lowest price. They sell themselves with no promotions or advertising.
5. When sourcing your products to sell, don’t even consider buying them if you cannot earn your desired profit (after all fees, shipping, and overhead are included) considering #4 above.
6. Don’t fall for the Get-Rich-Using-FBA plan. ALWAYS test sell your product for a month or so yourself. That way you will have a very good idea of the volume of sales per month to expect and can see if the volume is large enough to support the FBA fees Amazon will charge and still make your desired profit.
7. Know your shipping cost to every address in the USA BEFORE you list any product. If you do not, you will lose on every sale.
8. Last, but very important, begin to learn on these threads all the scams Amazon buyers play on sellers. Don’t take it personally when it happens. Just about very seller has come across one. Most likely your first one will catch you off guard and making a poor decision in handling the situation will cost you a loss.
9. There are many successful sellers on the Amazon site. Just follow Amazon’s policies. Read them and ask questions before you begin to sell, because if you violate one, it just may end you selling ability.
10. I will not say best of luck, because luck has nothing to do with Amazon selling. It is all in knowing how the retail trade works and how you can fit into it.
