Need some advice on this please
A couple of months ago, I had a customer order parts which, due to the value of the order, I sent via UPS insured and signature required.
UPS attempted to deliver the parts but there was no one there to sign for them.
UPS delivered the next day to a UPS access point location.
I messaged the customer through Amazon when I saw that it hadn't been picked up and provided the tracking number and the access point location name and address.
Customer never picked up, then filed an item not received and got the money back.
I filed claim through UPS and eventually, after about a month, I got the item back. I'm still out the shipping charge for both inbound and outbound shipping, which was $45!
Fast forward to today, same customer placed an order for the same parts. Should I simply cancel the order so that I don't get screwed again when they don't make themselves available to sign for or pick up the package?
What would you do? Anyone? @Seller_4zBzdtgCyS9EI, what would you suggest that I do?
Could a mod maybe give some advice? @SEAmod @Danny_Amazon

well, too many variations.
For example, how expensive is that order? I have had a few sellers sending me $50 or $70 orders with signature confirmation and then had to get up on my one day off a week and run to the post office. NOT at all a happy camper.
If you use Amazon shipping Protection, you have security without to buy insurance or signature and only need that if the package is over $200 (Or is it 150? something like that)
IF i was you....I would fulfill the order using Amazon Buy shipping and not waste money on extra's unless over $200. Make sure you understand what is required to be covered (many posts on this)
