campains yesterday charging far more than normal or what I set the budget for.

Anyone else get charged astronomically for yesterday's campaigns? I set one budget to $65 for THE DAY, not the month. Was charged $130. This seems like bad business practice when you are specifically marking your budget amount and its over more than 200%. When I opened a case it was defended by the "monthly average" however this was for just a day. Anyone else have this frustration? Amazon prime day has proven to be an extra cost and not a good sales period for my account. I wish they would stop with it bc it seems to serve only the large accounts that have thousands to throw at prime day campaigns and the little guy is losing money. One more way I feel nickled and dimed by Amazon. Not a good experience at all lately.

Hi @Seller_5LutCq6roTIcU,

It sounds like ads may have kept your campaign running due to good performance.

Your daily budget amount is averaged over the course of a calendar month. On any given day you could spend less than your daily budget, or up to 100% more than your average daily budget. This feature allows you to benefit from high traffic days (such as Prime Day).

However, at the end of the month, you won't spend more than the daily budget you’ve set, multiplied by the number of days in that month.

You can learn more about this feature by visiting the Ads Support page on Daily Budget.

You should see some adjustments on your invoices by the end of the month if you do get overcharged. You can view your campaign invoices by navigating to the gear icon in the bottom left hand corner of your ads console screen and navigating to "Billing."

You can also reach out to Ads Support and provide the campaign ID and request they do some specific research if something still doesn't look right.
