How to deal with "Invoice request from Amazon customer"

Just received an “Invoice request from Amazon customer”. Isn’t this something that the customer can get right from the order? Our orders are fulfilled by Amazon so not sure how to deal with this. If we do send an invoice, we’d have to do it on our company letterhead and that would just make things more confusing for everybody.

Many businesses can produce invoices with their accounting systems - Quickbooks is an example. You can also create one with MS Word or Excel. What Amazon provides is NOT an invoice. It is a sales receipt. It does NOT include your tax information which many businesses require for purchases when they are requested to provide detail for taxation.

If you don’t have many requests and don’t have an accounting system that can produce these for you, look into templates from Microsoft. This is not hard. Pasting an image and printing to a PDF file is pretty simple to do.
