Incorrect Category of our listing. Need urgent help to update

Hello!

We need your URGENT help to fix the issue with the incorrect Category of our listing.

Our listing is wrongly categorized on Amazon.com, so the listing is NOT searchable through the most relevant keywords.

We have tried to update the correct Category browse path by editing and bulk files.

As a brand-registered seller we have created several cases to Amazon Seller Support and Amazon Brand Registry Support, and keep receiving the same reply on every case: “We’ve reviewed your suggestion and are unable to accept the suggested Category browse node change to ASIN: B07…. This product is assigned to the current Category based on the detail page and how Amazon customers find products through search and browse.”

The correct Category for our product is Toys & Games › Stuffed Animals & Plush Toys › Plush Figure, we had it from the product launch date on Amazon.

Our product is Dinosaur Toy with a backpack. The primary product for this ASIN is Dinosaur Toy Figure. It is a standalone Toy Figure. Our customers buy this product as a dinosaur toy, the backpack is used as a toy carrier and is also part of the gameplay with the toy.

We’ve been working to resolve this problem for over a month trying all the possible ways to prove to Amazon that our listing is in the wrong Category. However, despite my efforts, this issue remains unresolved.

It is a very serious issue for our business. We are losing the indexing and ranking for the relevant keywords, and Amazon customers cannot discover our product in the correct Category and search results for the relevant keywords.

Our listing is wrongly categorized on Amazon.com, so the listing is NOT searchable through the most relevant keywords.

How about that, With 9 million sellers on Amazon, what are the keywords you feel set you apart from 8 million pother sellers? There are only so many words to use and while you think special keywords will help just your sales. All the other sellers think the same thing, making them really non-effective in driving buyers to your items.

A short 3-5 word title is much more effective than any Keywords.

Amazon Seller Support, Amazon Brand Registry Support, and the Mods on these threads, as a solution for changing a product category, will be of no help.

Amazon has always cared more about their customers than their buyers, so try attacking your problem from the Customer side. Go to the listing page in question. Find the box that says, REPORT PROBLEMS ON THIS PAGE. Click it and state your problem on the page, short and concisely. Don't complain, don't say you are a lister on the page, don't say Amazon is wrong and no one will listen to you, don't use any fluff, Just say the category the product is in would be better served in category XYZ.

It seems that little tab is always monitored by employees who can actually make the change very quickly, overriding the Auto Bots who make ridiculous changes all the time. It has always worked for us, and the change is made within 24 hours.

How about that, With 9 million sellers on Amazon, what are the keywords you feel set you apart from 8 million pother sellers? There are only so many words to use and while you think special keywords will help just your sales. All the other sellers think the same thing, making them really non-effective in driving buyers to your items.

A short 3-5 word title is much more effective than any Keywords.

Amazon Seller Support, Amazon Brand Registry Support, and the Mods on these threads, as a solution for changing a product category, will be of no help.

Amazon has always cared more about their customers than their buyers, so try attacking your problem from the Customer side. Go to the listing page in question.
