A-Z Claim Fraudulent incomplete Return, Missing Accessories: Battery and charger

The buyer requested a return since they claim that the item arrived damaged, which was a Drill kit with battery and charger included. ORDER ID 701-3129157-8005815. The buyer asked for a free return label which we provided and scheduled courier pickup. We discovered that the battery and charger were missing when I received the returned item today. I suspect they are abusing Amazon's return policy and taking advantage of the seller. Prior to the return shipment, I instructed the buyer to include all parts and accessories to avoid a 25% Fee. The buyer has been refunded and issued only 75% of the item price. They may file an A-Z claim against us and that is what's worrying us now. Based on my narrative, what would be the right approach in this case?

The customer filed an A-Z claim for returned item that were incomplete claiming that they returned everything that we shipped which was false. This item contains a battery and charger. The buyer was trying to get those for free by committing this fraud. Can someone assist me in this case?

Update on A to Z claim

Amazon granted the A-Z claim as "Amazon Funded" and issued the remaining funds to the customer of the 25% funds being withheld. There were no impact on our ODR. I still stand grounds on our claim that this was a fraudulent return and we believe that this claim should've been denied since rewarding these bad actors would cause them to commit more as they reap the benefits without consequences.

Thank you A-Z claims team for stepping in and protecting us.
