AMAZON Delivery and FBM delivery during the Hurricane Helene
Hello Everyone,
I was asking Amazon Customer Service about my Deliveries for Sept Subscribe & Save. They were supposed to be delivered Oct 1, 2024. However, I have NOT received them until today (10/8/24). Therefore, I went to chat with Amazon CS. The following was my conversations:
Amazon Rep: SAID "On checking with my internal resources package is delayed due to severe weather in the delivery network."
ME: I am a seller at Amazon as well. I gave the same reason severe weather as my reason to ship late. Amazon pushed me to ship on time and would not understand. It still wanted to give me a ding on my seller if I did not ship the item on time. I have to go to Lavonia, Georgia (90 Miles South) to ship the item.
Do you think that is FAIR to push me while Amazon can easily give reason due to Severe Weather? I have MUCH Less resources to ship my item. Amazon has tons of resources to deliver my order. My last words: you need to think about your 3rd party sellers when there is a natural disaster as the Helene Hurricane Magnitude to have some leniency on their deliveries. If you can not delivery those item in 8 DAYS already, how can you expect the 3rd part seller to ship orders within TWO DAYS. It cost me over $300.00 to ship the item that I sold through Amazon that is only cost less than $150.00. I took the loss of around $275.00 to maintain my 3rd party seller reputation. Amazon must do the same. $300 not the shipping cost but the cost to travel and stay in hotel at Lavonia, Georgia (GA).
I posted the discussion about a week ago entitled Please Help Seller Affected Severely by Hurricane Helene.
CASE 16321543041 but the seller support didn’t provide Solution for me.
I would like to hear back from Amazon on this Matter and also fellow sellers. Thank you.
