is there a way to tell if an item cant be sent for FBA due to Hazmat restrictions before buying?

many times I have purchased items (usually cosmetics) and then have learned when I try to send them to Amazon that I cannot as this message comes up: "This product is considered Hazmat and is not eligible for FBA. For more information, see Dangerous goods identification guide."

Is there a way to identify this when researching a product? Or scanning products at a retailer?

At times one shade of lipstick can be sent in whereas another cannot.

The bigger problem you are going to have is when Amazon asks for invoices and a LoA for each brand of whatever you are selling, and they are not going accept retail receipts.
