I HAVE HAD IT WITH AMAZON BUY SHIPPING!!!
This morning, I had an expedited order. When I went to purchase shipping though Buy Shipping, it gave me the options for UPS 3-Day, and Priority Mail CUBIC. It did NOT give me the option for simple Priority Mail. Since my package was under 1 lb, the Priority Mail rate is less expensive as the Priority Mail CUBIC rate. But they are the SAME SERVICE, yet, Buy Shipping did not offer simple Priority Mail.
Somebody PLEASE explain this to me. When I call "seller support" they just say it's not available, but they cannot tell me why (of course not).
I really need help with this!!! Somebody!

My guess is that it is another issue with the buy shipping algorithm calculating delivery dates because I just checked an order, and it is showing Priority Mail Cubric as a day faster than regular Priority Mail.
@KJ_Amazon can you take a look into this?

This isn't that deep. It's either a temporary glitch or the estimated delivery dates are not within the promised time. Probably the most minor issue with buy shipping honestly.

Numerous support cases and forum discussions inlcuding @KJ_Amazonand still nothing. It is not easy for us to buy shipping outside of Amazon the way our API works.

If you really are serious and have had it with Amazon Buy Shipping, use a real shipping service. I have been using Shipstation for over 10 years and I am 99.9% happy with them. You can also try Veeqo, which is a free Amazon service that works like Shipstation. Good luck.

This has happened to me too. And sometimes there is 1 day delivery difference between Priority Flat Rate envelope and Priority Legal Flat Rate envelope which makes NO SENSE!! Why why would they have different delivery dates?

we ship about 150-200 orders a day. All our templates use SSA. We use Amazon buy shipping through an interface with Shippingeasy for “most” orders. But every day there are a couple order… then Thursday, Friday, and Saturday more than a couple, where we can’t use Amazon buy shipping because of this issue.SSA is showing a delivery promise based on our carrier selections in the template. It is calculating correctly. But Amazon looks at the same information and decides that the carrier service SSA used to get the delivery promise won’t work. It is ridiculous that a company with Amazon’s programming resources can’t make it work correctly. They simply don’t care.

I have found that the dimensions you enter affect which option they give you. When I ship an item in a flat-rate envelope, I have to enter 10/12 by 10 by 1. If i enter a thickness greater than 1inch, I will not get the flat rate envelope or bubble-envelope as a selection.
