Late shipping rate, ship by date even when we are set up to be closed on saturday?

Hello,

We got a few orders on Friday with ship by date on Saturday, even though our operational days are set up between Monday- Friday. We never had this happened before. They we got a notification on Monday mornings that these orders have late shipment. We have opened up a case, but till now no resolution. Is there a way out here?

You have same day handling time set up. Make your handling time 1 business day.

Same here!

I have spoken to an Amazon person whose email I have from a previous issue... because, as you likely know, regular Support is anything but useful!

After some digging, he discovered the issue is I had the Truth and Reconciliation holiday marked as a day we don't get off (we aren't a bank!) so Amazon's system read that as we are working Saturday as that is when the holiday was.

What SHOULD have happened is their system should have then defaulted to our regular Monday-Friday hours but instead decided we were working Saturday. It's a flaw and they are working to sort it out.

As a heads up, MAKE SURE YOU SAY YOU ARE OBSERVING REMEMBRANCE DAY, it falls on a Saturday as well and will likely do the same thing!

It's not an error. You have to buy shipping outside of Amazon in Canada.

That link takes you to the seller central Canada help page for buy shipping. On that page, it says that buy shipping is only available for China to Canada and Canada to USA shipments, and that it is not available for Canada to Canada Shipments
