FBA shipment received nothing

We have an FBA shipment which Amazon claims they received 0 out of 40 units. We opened cases with Amazon and they took a month to reply to us, only saying they received nothing. We asked them to either reimburse our inventory or return the box to us. They keep saying the same thing. I don't think it is legal to hold our package and say they receive nothing. What should we do at this point? These people reply to message very slowly and when they are convenient. The package we sent was 40 pounds. Basically, they are saying the whole thing disappeared and they confirmed it.

We are thinking about filing a BBB claim. Has anyone done this before?

This identical situation happened to me.

I sent 20 units of a book. They claimed to have received 0 out of 20 units.

I posted on the forums as you are doing now.

A moderator posted on my forum post...as will probably happen to you.

This moderator connected me with another seller support associate. This only delayed the process by 2 weeks only for them to confirm they will not reimburse me for anything.

I was out $200 for about 2 months. The 20 units miraculously appeared in my stranded inventory.

I have never filed a BBB claim against Amazon and I am very pessimistic of it having any effect at all.

Same thing just happened to us overnight. A shipment we sent in Nov 28 was never delivered until just today, and they claim 0 units were received. What a bunch of BS. We will fight this as long as it takes to get our reimbursement.
