I understand you have some questions about cancellation rate (CR). I would like to provide you with further insight into the applicable policy here.

CR is one of the metrics included in the Order Performance program policy which has been designed to maintain standards for seller when it comes to fulfillment, delivery, and customer service. CR is a metric which provides insight into the seller-fulfilled orders that have been cancelled. When orders automatically canceled by Amazon because the seller did not confirm the shipment or when the seller cancels an order for one reason or another. Our policy recommends sellers to maintain a cancellation rate under 2.5% in order to sell on Amazon. A cancellation rate above 2.5% may result in deactivation of seller-fulfilled offers.

If you, yourself, have not cancelled any orders, has Amazon done so on your behalf? Have you confirmed all shipments? If you have confirmed them, did you do so on time?

This metric operates on a rolling 7-day period, which means any cancelled orders will move out of that given date range after 7 days of the cancelled order.

If your seller-fulfilled offers are at risk of deactivation, you may be eligible to take a quiz to avoid the deactivation. For eligible sellers, the option will appear in the banner at the top of your Account Health page, where you will be given an opportunity to take a five-question quiz regarding the CR policy. You have 72 hours to take the quiz. If you pass the quiz, no plan of action (POA) will be required from you, or will your listings be deactivated. We recommend that you look for and take the quiz whenever available, as this is the best way to maintain your account health.

I look forward to learning more about your situation so we may work toward a preventative solution.

All the best,

Stevie
