Help with Restricted products policy voilation
Hi, i was trying to list a universal travel adapter but then i received a restricted products policy violation by saying this:
(This product has been identified as a 3-Prong to 2-Prong Adapter Grounding Outlet Converter or Electrical Adapter. These products do not meet Canadian safety standards and are prohibited for sale or listing on Amazon.ca).
But i have seen other universal adapters listed as well online then how is mine restricted? it is same.
can some please tell me?
1. How can i fix the listing ? or what can be the reason? because i do not understand what i am doing wrong.
2.it was out of stock still if i delete the listing. will it remove violation from my account?
any help would appreciate. Thanks

Nope, violation will stay on your account for 180 days.
You'll have to submit your Canadian product safety testing that says they meet Canadian safety regulations. It doesn't matter if other sellers are selling the same thing. They have already paid to have their products tested and certified for the Canadian Marketplace. Amazon just needs to know that you have done so to.
