GS1 and Brand Names

I am trying to list my product on amazon and I am encountering error codes. On gs1 it makes you enter a brand name even when you do not have one. I have tried entering Generic in the brand name section for gs1 then using that barcode number for amazon and brand name Generic. But I still receive error codes for generic brand name, code 8752 stating the brand names do not match. But my gs1 brand name and amazon brand name are both Generic.

I have made two barcodes, one with a brand name(name of my company) and one brand name set as generic. Both did not work. I do not have pictures with logo or brand name because I have no brand so I can't do brand registry.

Is there anyway for me to list my product on Amazon with the Generic Brand Name?

It sounds like you are running into Error 8572. The most common reason for this type of error is conflicts between what is being provided to GS1 and what is provided to Amazon however it isn't the only way this error might occur.
