Problems with shipping to Canada
I've had a bit of a nightmare with a few orders from Amazon dot CA.
Though the postal strike in Canada has ended, I still can't buy mailing labels from USPS because of a backlog in Canada. Made the mistake of using an Amazon DHL label for one package -- ended up having to drive TWO hours to drop off my $30 product. NO MORE! So I got one buyer to cancel his order, then made the mistake of cancelling the remaining order myself and now can't contact him to let him know why I cancelled his order or to ask him to cancel it himself.
Meanwhile, Amazon Canada threatening to deactivate my account for some reason. I have tried a couple of times to get a call back from seller support in Canada but gave up after waiting an hour for a call-back. This lack of support is incredibly frustrating!!!
I've always taken great care to mail my packages the same or next day after the order but feel like I'm going to be penalized because of strike-related issues. No idea how to get help with these problems.

You are not allowed to ask buyers to cancel.
The only time that is acceptable is when you receive a message from a buyer asking to cancel (but they do not go through the steps to properly cancel).
Otherwise you may not ask a buyer to cancel.
This is seller faulted in that you should not have been allowing any of those orders until you were able to ship normally.
