is it still worth selling on AMZ [Moderator Edit: removed inappropriate commentary]

[Moderator Edit: removed inappropriate commentary]

Backstory.. we ran a rather decent size Amazon store back 10+yrs ago.. were actually 3rd largest tech seller in our niche corner for 4 years running.... but then China came online, Amazon 'automated', and things went downhill..

Today, I was just notified that Amazon has decided that my invention (a product I developed and which we have mfr'd exclusively, sold on 4 platforms for 8 years, and which has never once had any other company try to copy - because it's complex and not extremely profitable) is counterfeit...

My product. my name on the product.. my company name on the brand, on the listing, on the account name, not a single other company listing it. EVER.. in the history of Amazon there has never been anybody else making this product..

Yet these rocket surgeons decide it's counterfeit, freeze the account, confiscate (steal) several hundred units, and refuse to return them..

Today I get notified that they've scrapped them..

Well, it's only about $1500 in value... but it's MY OWN PRODUCT. THAT I INVENTED. THAT I DEVELOPED. THAT I MANUFACTURED. THAT I OWNED. They claimed that our ongoing raw materials invoices were insufficient to prove that in fact we were the rightful sellers of the product that's stamped with our brand name, sold exclusively under our listing account, and for which there are ZERO OTHER MERCHANTS TRYING TO SELL.

How you deal with this kind of ridiculous?

is it still worth selling on AMZ,

Well, selling on Amazon is still my dayjob, and my sales are still growing year to year, and I don't require another dayjob, so I'd say it's still worth it.
