FBA Returns - Buyers returning used different parts

Hello, I'm new to selling on amazon and recently received a package of FBA returns from customers. All of the products I received would be considered 'scams' from the customer, products that are different, old and used. Some products are retuned with just random things inside so make them look full. Is there anything I can do in this situation or do I have to eat the loss? These return scams are happening a lot more than I was expecting. Thank you.

This isn't the first time I've seen this kind of message.

on my part I have had a lot of fraudulent returns from customers in this case I stopped selling high value products

in addition amazon agrees with the customer without verification

We sell engine oils etc.. and I have seen cases where customers will refill the bottle with used oil and send it back

guess what amazon does

full refund!

I get my stuff back roughly 50% of the time, a lot of my returns simply never come back to us, money is simply gone. On some of them the people's excuse for returning the item doesn't even match the product we sell

I'm a small business and I've had people return my item damaged and get a full refund with FBA. As well as a lot of product quality complaints

I have since added a "Read first" on my listing saying I am a small business, I hand-packaged every single item so they are not perfect, and designed them myself and to please consider this if you think you might be returning the item as amazon keeps the fees they took from the sale and the refund comes directly out of my pocket.

Surprisingly, amazon accepted this addition as its on a photo and my product is still up and I've had 3 orders since.
