Can't get hazmat review

For years I sold an item on Amazon.ca via FBA. It is a regular game. Amazon themselves sold it.

Over the past few years Amazon.ca has given up on lots of adult board games by demanding "safety" tests that are not done by any other retailers in Canada, therefore stranding a bunch of inventory. So I want to remove it.

But Amazon AI has labeled some of my board games as hazmat with flammable liquids (there are no liquids or anything hazardous at all, it's a regular game you find at any store). And because it's an inactive ASIN, labels it as hazmat and refuses to accept documentation about the hazmat status until I activate the ASIN, which is impossible because the tests they want for ASIN activation don't exist.

I just want my inventory back. It is not hazmat in any way. I cannot get anywhere with seller support. They keep saying "oh just remove it, no problem" and when I say it's hazmat flagged they say they can't fix it until the ASIN is active, which is not possible. The ASIN was active for years, it is not my fault Amazon arbitrarily decided to take it down.

I just want my stock back. I am hoping a mod can get this case looked at.

Ideally the hazmat documentation can be submitted directly to the hazmat team since I cannot use the tool to submit it since the ASIN is not active.

Not sure if the exec team for catch-22 problems is still active, consider emailing jeff@amazon.com

Hello DigitalVault,

Thank you for contacting us and for your participation on this forum.

I understand your concern about the issues you mention on this thread, just a quick question, as you are not indicating which ASIN we are talking about, just want to confirm if they are related to the cases you open ending on x6381, x6241 or x9381 so I can follow up.

Thank you again,

Charly_Amazon
