Why Isn't Amazon enforcing the mouth tape ban?
I was interested in selling mouth tape, but then came across Amazon's policy on banning mouth tape.
However, there are literally dozens of sellers who are still selling mouth tape, one that just launched a few days ago.
If you just search mouth tape, you find tons of products that are paying to be sponsored for the keyword and clearly selling mouth tape for sleeping.

Why are these allowed to be on Amazon? Is it a difference in language? Some of these posting are literally using the phrase "Mouth Tape".

Why?
Amazon prohibits drug paraphernalia. That makes Amazon good guys.
Drug paraphernalia abounds on Amazon.
But somehow they still are the good guys because it is prohibited. So they get to make money on drug paraphernalia while prohibiting the offerings.
But they do stop some of the listings.
I guess to maintain the image.
Why are so many prohibited products so easy to find?
Not worthwhile to figure it out.
Just stay away from all prohibited items. Don't worry about all the sellers who are getting away with it. For now.

As Jeff himself said, "Just because it's prohibited doesn't mean it doesn't happen."

Thank you for starting this discussion @Seller_CcJCTkc0duzQo- did you also report these ASINs through the report a violation tool? Any time Amazon policy is departed from or listing abuse is witnessed, we encourage those issues to be reported through that channel for investigation. While not all submissions will be responded to due to privacy reasons, know that all will be investigated.
