customer can return over 30 days period

This order has been placed on June this year. I just checked the payment detail and found this order has been refunded to customer on Oct 30 2023. I dont understand why customer can still refund the money to the customer even it is out of return period.

Its a return initiation period. You have to initiate your return within 30 days. You can send it back later.

Nevertheless, there is a process to help you, which can be found in the second Help Page, in the section Claim window, it states: "You can file a customer return claim no sooner than 45 days and no later than 18 months after the customer refund or replacement."

Being said this, the scenario you described can happen, but if the product is not returned to the warehouse in 45 days or less, you can contact Selling Partner Support to request the reimbursement to your account accordingly.
