Now this is strange -- We are prevented from messaging the buyer
I have been messaging a buyer back and forth for the past couple of days. And today I messaged him and the AMZ message bot stated "This is the last message you will be able to send the buyer". HUH????
So now I have to write a letter to the buyer or send a post card to him if I want to get a message to him -- LAUGHABLE. And if I do that I will surely include my phone number for him to message me.
Great job AMZ!

That is strange. I haven't seen that before.

There is a limit of how many messages you can send on a daily basis to prevent spamming. Just a tip, but you should really keep your communication with your buyers at an extreme minimum to prevent this from happening.

This might be a limit that is placed on sellers who abuse the messaging system.
As you have indicated in the past that you tend to send unneeded messages, perhaps you are now getting more restrictions than might be place on others. Then again, it might be a hard limit, and you are just the first to run up against it. I've never needed more than 3-4 messages to fully resolve any issue with any customer, so don't have experience with a prolonged conversation.

If you were to write them or send them a letter, Amazon would cancel your account. Amazon does not let us contact customers, but then asks the stupid question on our main page "Amazon makes it easy for me to communicate with my customers." Just to make new sellers think Amazon cares long enough to make money off of them before they have to quit or give up.

Hi @Seller_wM0nLLkM8WJfx,
Thank you for reaching out on the Seller Forums! I apologize for the frustration this has caused.
As mentioned in the replies here, there is a limit of Buyer-Seller Messages you may send. We use the following formula to set the maximum number of daily messages: 5 times your average daily order volume, plus an additional 600 messages.
For additional information and guidelines for Buyer-Seller Messages, I would encourage you to read through the following resources:
Now, if you do believe there is an error going on with your account, I would encourage you to open a case with Seller Support so they can take a further look. If you do open that case, please send me the case ID and I'd be happy to monitor the correspondence and provide additional assistance if needed.
Thanks again,
Jameson

In the Op's defense, some customers can be thick-headed.

Jameson_Amazon says you can should be able to send 600 messages a day + 5 times your average order volume.
How many messages are you sending? Are you using any automated message tools?

600 messages? that's crazy in my opinion. In 2 and a half years and around 30,000 orders I'm positive I've not sent 100 messages in TOTAL let alone 600 IN A DAY. I got to know did you really send 600 messages in one day? Who has time for this what are you selling that needs so much communication? I would quit if i had to deal with customers 600 times in one day.

Man, this whole post, especially this part --
-- Is a sure fire way for you to get on Amazons radar and get your account possibly suspended. That entire sentence is fully and totally against Amazons buyer-seller messaging policy.
We make a pretty decent amount of sales, never nearly enough to have to send 600 messages to buyers in a day, but enough for us spend an hour or two responding to customers in an entire day.
Never had this issue. The ONLY time i've seen something similar is when the customer has their setting for receiving messages turned off. Even though you were chatting with the customer back and forth, perhaps they decided recently to turn off that feature. Whenever a buyer of ours has that setting off, but has a return opened and I NEED to send them a message (requiring freight information, etc) thats when Amazon allows me to message the customer one time.
Maybe this is the case for you.
Seller_nRFmxiQg4EGrw
Well, since she's not taking the time to actually ship the orders, I guess she has plenty of time for 600 messages.
