How to do a partial refund when customer doesn't use the Amazon return system?
Customer called us and told us product did not work for them (non standard use of product). Customer let us know that they used part of the product and that they understood we should not give a full refund. (We had not inquired about this - honest customer).
Customer then ships product to us, but does not use the Amazon return system.
How can we do a partial refund? Amazon only let us refund up to 50% or 100%. Order is not in the managed returns because buyer didn't use the system.

You can go to original order and refund whatever you want.

The Amazon interface does limit you to 50% if not refunding 100%. You can go to the order adjustment page at https://sellercentral.amazon.com/order-reports-and-feeds/feeds/adjustments# and download the template, modify it, and then upload it back to refund whatever back you wish to refund.

You do not, They must follow Amazon policy. This is outside the policy.
