Brand Approval Issues
I have been going back and forth with Amazon's catalogue team about brand approval for a product that they restricted after I have been selling it for over 8 years. We currently have over 7,000 units stranded since they restricted us last week on about 25 different listings.
I have sent all required documents, pictures of the product in our warehouse, manufacturer documents, invoices, everything. It is all authentic, and it's completely obvious that it is. They keep sending it back to us and saying they cannot accept them, and the most recent reason was because they were not legible. I have resent them, the documents are clear.
The weird thing is, we had 2 inauthentic claims from customers recently from this same brand. I submitted these exact documents as I have to the catalogue/brand approval team and they approved them and said we may continue selling them. But the brand approval team, who has gotten the exact same documents, will not approve them!
Any moderators able to take a look at my case? My Case ID is 14973842291. I would appreciate any help!

Still no luck - Amazon's catalogue team will not tell me what is wrong with the documentation I have submitted. I have submitted invoices from the distributor, manufacturer, along with screenshots of emails from the Health Dashboard team approving me to sell ASIN's recently under the same brand name. I have also submitted pictures of myself holding the product in my own warehouse with the brand name imprinted on the packaging of the products in hand. Once again, if any moderator can possibly help/take a look at this, I would be very grateful.

Hello @Seller_iqoS2jacg0FJe,
Thank you for utilizing the seller forums. I hope all is well.
From the information you have provided, I see that you are having brand approval issues. Due to the complexity of the issue with brand approval, I will be sending your information to a community manager to review this situation further.
Usually when a customer puts in a complaint for inauthenticity, you may have received a violation on your account health page for it as well. Have you appealed it through your account health page or were you appealing it to the catalogue team or brand registry? If you do have a violation, you will need to address it with invoices. The requirements are:
- Must be issued in the last 365 days
- Must match the sales volume in the last 365 days
- Must have your supplier’s information such as their name, address, phone number and email address
- Must have the seller’s information that matches the information in seller central when you registered to sell
- Upload the documents in pdf, png, gif, or jpg
- Your documents should be able to trace your products to the original manufacturer even if you did not purchase them directly from the original manufacturer. This may require requesting additional invoices or supply chain documentation from your supplier if you are not sourcing directly from the manufacturer.
- You may remove pricing information, but the rest of the document must be visible to enable adequate review of the documents you provide. For ease of our review, you may highlight or circle the ASIN(s) under review.
When selling on amazon, it is very important to have an LOA from the brand. That shows you have authorization to sell the brand. LOA requirements are:
- 'Licensor'–The company/brand providing the rights to intellectual property
- 'Licensee'–The company/brand receiving the rights to use the intellectual property.
- ‘Grant’–The intellectual property being licensed and the scope of rights granted
- ‘Geographic Scope’–The specific territory or territories where use is authorized (may be worldwide)
- ‘Term’–The duration of the authorization (may be perpetual)
Thank you @Seller_f4a7xAPCCSMqD for your input and assistance.
If you have additional questions or concerns, please let us know here in this thread.
Best wishes,
Cade.

we are dealing with this same situation currently. We had a counterfeit claim against us and we provided the invoices. Now we are being denied brand approval. Did you have any luck? Like you we have thousands of units stranded. Im sick and livid all at the same time!
