customer damaged return
I wonder where in the world or on which platform is it possible to return used or damaged products?? Can such a thing be legal? How can customers return products after using and damaging them? It is nothing more than an attack on sellers' rights and Amazon victimizing sellers! Amazon creates the perfect environment for competitors to buy products, damage them and create unfair competition! Especially, for about a year now, Amazon has been charging sellers "$2.5 return fee" for each return! Don't we already pay money to the FBA service for the fulfillment process? What is this fee they say they charge "due to the recent increase in FBA expenses"?? There is no business ethics and this cannot even be ethical! I also noticed that some of my reasons for returning are due to the shipment not being delivered on time, which is the responsibility of the FBA service, and now after the fee charged for each return, I am starting to think that Amazon is doing this on purpose. The reason why I think so negatively and suspiciously is because the fba service does all the ugly things to avoid paying for my lost products, even though I provide the evidence they want. I'm starting to think that they hate sellers or something! Because the answers I got after contacting seller support are extremely ridiculous!

This platform is owned by Amazon and governed by their agreement, an agreement you accepted when you signed up, They have the right to run their platform however they want, since they are not forcing you to sell here.
Again, you have no rights here. What makes you think being a tolerated seller here give you any rights? If they don't like you, they can boot you over night and don't even need to tell you why.
No, not ethical. But Amazon is in the business of making money, not politics.
I can confirm, they are certainly doing it on purpose. Again, they are a for profit company and in this case, a "Our profit and we might let you have a share if you behave"

Hello @Seller_9fxojgmeyzmy3
Christine here from Amazon Forums.
If a customer returns your item to a fulfillment center within 60 days of the refund, we’ll first determine the condition of the returned item. If the returned item is sellable, we’ll return the item to your inventory and will not reimburse you.
If the returned item is unsellable, we’ll determine who is responsible for the condition. If we find Amazon is responsible for an unsellable return, we’ll reimburse you and will not add the item back to your inventory. For more information, go toFBA inventory reimbursement policy: Customer return claims
Hope this information helps you with your concern.
