I am currently going back and forth with Amazon, trying to approve the brand name I will be using on my product. Note: the brand name is not registered in the Canadian trademark database. I have already made branded packaging and have started manufacturing the products, but I've gotten two different responses from Amazon. One that says the brand name is already registered/approved despite the lack of a registered trademark which complicates things on Amazon as I had plans to get a trademark myself. Next is the second response, which does not acknowledge the other one and only says they can't approve it because the brand name is not on the physical product. The physical product is quite small, so putting the full brand name on there isn't ideal so I'm confused as to which is the true reason for the disapproval, is the name taken, or is it lack of the full name on the product?

As stated, I already have the products being manufactured so I can't go back and ask them to start from scratch to add the name, and I don't even want to as it would kill the look. I am honestly tired of the back and forth as it seems there's a different agent replying each time so I have to ask the same questions again and wait a while for a response.

Has anyone ever experienced this? I am considering not including the brand name in the listing, but would I be able to add the brand name in the listing later on without having to create a new listing? I am new here and just stuck right now and would really like to avoid any problems that would affect my sales in the future or cause me to get penalized by Amazon.
