Scary ad on Y-Tube and why you should get a UPS box
Was watching a video last night and a "How to make money on Amazon" ad came up. Not unusual in itself, but...
In the middle of the ad the guy showed where to find a sellers business address and then says " He's making $X every month on just this one item and if you google it you can see its just a regular house and not a big corporation".
Needless to say, if I wasn't already using a UPS box for my official address this would have scared the hell out of me.
This guy just gave instructions to ANY thief on how to download a 3rd party app, find out how much I potentially make selling an item, and possibly where I live.
Take this warning to heart and make sure your actual address is not listed where it can be seen by anyone looking on Amazon.

I did not know they allowed UPS box for permanent address. How does that work for returns, do you have to pick them up there?

How would I be able to verify my Amazon account for my business address for all my wholesaler invoices and utility bills if my Amazon store was registered at a UPS store?

To all the naysayers on this thread... I know anyone COULD look up the info, but a video instructing people HOW to WILL lead to more people doing this and maybe committing crimes. Remember the "KIA boys video". That one video has led to literally tens of thousands of cars being stolen that would not have otherwise. My neighbor even had hers broken into, but it had been fixed so it couldn't be stolen, but they still broke a window and ripped apart her steering column. Oh, and the "kids" who did that left the OTHER Kia they stole down the block when it ran out of gas and came looking for another to steal.

Why would I want my home address as my bill to? I would use my business address for billing.

But my business utility bills and business bank info isn't my home address, it's my business address
