Amazon Account Deactivated - 12 years in business on amazon and 3 employees are losing their jobs

Dear Amazon Support Team,

After 12 years in business on amazon this is my first post on forums. I hope I'm posting this correctly and hope you can help me in this urgent matter.

@Cade_Amazon @SEAmod @CR_Amazon

@Danny_Amazon @Quincy_Amazon @Rose_Amazon

@Tatiana_Amazon @LeviDylan_Amazon @TaylorR_Amazon

@Glenn_Amazon @Cooper_Amazon @Blake_Amazon @Stevie_Amazon

I need your help in reactivation of our Amazon seller account. We've been selling on amazon since 2012 and were deactivated for "related account" reason 2 weeks ago. I've submitted 3 affidavits already and had a few calls with Amazon Health Support but always get different responses on what's need to reactivate the account.

A bit of background. The other related account listed in the deactivation notice belongs to my son. He opened the account in 2022 just trying to earn a few dollars while going to school. His account was deactivated last year and even though he tried to appeal deactivation, he really didn't want to pursue it further as he was close to graduating and now works full time.

In 2022, he wanted to buy something on amazon and pay for it himself. Since I have a prime amazon account and free shipping (same login as seller account), I added his credit card number to my buyer account and bought the item he wanted. I didn't remove his credit card from payment methods as I didn't realize until now that payment methods in the individual buyer account are linked to payment methods in the business seller account. Unfortunately, my son used the same credit card when he opened his amazon seller account. Now, a year later, amazon linked my account to his, most likely via that credit card. We most likely also shared wifi connection as well when my son visited us on some weekends or when we visited him in school. We may also have shared hot spot in my cell phone, especially when we traveled internationally.

I listed the above points (links between accounts) in the affidavit. I never had access to my son's account and he never had access to my amazon account. I never logged into my account from his computer and he had never logged into his account from my computer.

I have 3 employees that depend on this amazon seller account and would like to get this resolved as soon as possible but every time I call Amazon Health support I get a different answer on what's needed or that I need to reactivate the other account that belongs to my son.

Along with the sworn Affidavit that says our accounts not related, I have submitted the following documents:

1. My Identification proof

2. My son’s Identification proof

3. Certificate of Birth for my son

4. Screenshots that I’ve asked my son to provide to me from his amazon account showing that he is the owner of that seller account

5. Plan of Action

Can you please help in reactivation of my amazon seller account? I really don't understand what else is needed.

I really appreciate your help in this matter.

In fact, sellers can have multiple accounts on Amazon, but if one of them is deactivated this will affect all the accounts with whom they shared information.

To reactivate a related account, first, individually resolve the violation, or violations in the account that generated the initial deactivation, which in this case, is your son's account. When his account is reactivated, you can request the reactivation of yours.

I advise you to ask your son to create their own topic here on the forums so that we can help reactivate his account, since the process of reactivating a related account is quite complicated.

Please visit the pages Address a Multiple Account Policy violation and Selling policies and seller code of conduct for more information.

The forums community and I are committed to assisting you. Feel free to share how we can support you moving forward.

Wish you all the best,

Nikki

Hello StudioLX,

The confusion may be due to the different accounts we're referring to. The responsible team that I receive information from can only view the account you're using to send this message.

Please do not send appeals through cases, as that can also be a factor that is causing information conflicts.

For information about the related account(s), I recommend contacting the account health support team.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Regards,

-Nikki
