Should I delete my listing for receiving a Restricted Products Policy Violation?

In the process of prepping a supplement product listing, I used the AI-generated description based on an image to temporarily create a product description but overlooked reviewing it as the listing wasn't going live for a few weeks. Amazon flagged a disease claim, resulting in a Restricted Products Policy Violation. While I've fixed the issue, Amazon now requires pictures of all product sides to review the appeal. I've uploaded them, but they haven't gone live yet, and the deadline for resolution is tomorrow.

I'm unsure if the images will update or if Seller Support will address the ticket in time.

Should I delete the listing before the deadline and await an appeal response or leave it as is?

I won't address whether you should delete it or not BUT when you say

" I used the AI-generated description based on an image to temporarily create a product description"

I hope other readers see this and decide that they should NEVER trust the "AI-generated description" on Amazon in the future if they value their account.

I suspect that at least on Amazon 'AI" stands for "Absolute Insanity".

Hello @Seller_zNGYIma2hBSnp,

Michelle at Amazon here. Your fellow sellers have given you some great information. You will need to wait for the team to review your listing as there is nothing that I can do to expedite the review for you.

Best wishes,

Michelle
